A  Invitations to the Global Commercial Meeting are non-transferable.

Q Who can I contact for assistance in obtaining a visa to travel to the meeting?

A It is recommended you start this process immediately as we are seeing a backlog in visa requests in some countries. Please contact your local Illumina travel provider for assistance.

Q Will I be required to reserve a room at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina when registering for the event?

A To meet our financial commitments to the hotel and reduce attrition penalties, we will require, as we have in previous years, all attendees, including San Diego-based attendees, to reserve a hotel room at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina for the duration of the event.

Commercial attendees' stay will be covered by Commercial. Commercial attendees will be required to provide a credit card at check-in for incidentals only.

Non-Commercial attendees will need to cover their required hotel stay through their department's travel budget. Non-Commercial attendees will be required to provide a credit card at check-in for all costs associated with their hotel stay, including incidentals.

PLEASE NOTE: In adherence to this policy, attendees will not be reimbursed for stays at alternate hotels during GCM. For attendees who have approval to extend their stay for meetings at Illumina, you are permitted to move hotels after GCM to be closer to campus.

US Employees Only: Since Martin Luther King Jr. Day falls during GCM, how will the holiday be observed?

U.S. employees attending GCM may take one alternate day off within 30 days of the event in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Please coordinate the timing with your manager in advance.
